Dave
Junion – Class of 1979
Dave is well known as one of
the very best and most creative photographers in our area. Anyone who has had
the experience of working with Dave knows of his energy and charm. He is one of
the lucky ones who does what he loves. Dave first learned his photography skills
in 5th grade when Don Rahne introduced him to a camera. In high school, Dave
credits Jim Evers with teaching him how to capture images and strive for
quality. Over the years Dave has contributed much time and effort to those in
need as well. One day of shooting is donated for the Children's Miracle Network
and every Christmas he shoots 100 sessions and raises $10,000 for the Children's
Service Society. He also donates class time to area school districts for business
classes, art and photography. He supports local school programs such as athletics,
arts, musicals, plays and music programs. Dave also created a program for free
senior class portraits for those who cannot afford them. A national speaker and
photographic consultant, he talks on creativity, digital technology and
marketing. Dave is also known a one of the first in the nation to pioneer the
use of digital technology in the portrait industry and continues on the cutting
edge. |
