Board Meeting
D.C. Everest Area School District School Board holds regular meetings on the fourth
Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Administration
Building, 6300 Alderson Street, Weston.
Special meetings and/or a change in meeting location are posted with due
notice at district buildings and on the district website. Local news media is
also notified of all meetings.
"The public is invited to attend all regular and special meetings of the
School Board as spectators...Citizens who wish to present any matter of concern to the
board may make requests and shall be permitted to address the board at
the appropriate place on the agenda." Policy

The School Board
Wisconsin Statute 120.01 provides that a common school district operating
elementary and high school grades may have seven (7) school board members.
Members terms are three (3) years. Members elected at the spring election take
office on the fourth Monday in April.

The Superintendent of Schools
The Superintendent of Schools is the chief executive officer of the D.C.
Everest Area School District. The Superintendent is appointed by and is directly responsible
to the School Board for the discharge of her responsibilities.

Addressing the School Board
Individuals wishing the address the Everest School Board may do so by contacting the
Superintendent's office at 715.359.4221 Ext. 1220. Citizens making the request
shall be permitted to address the board at the Hearing of Delegations in the
order of business. A citizen may appear at the meeting and share a concern with
the board, but if the item is not on the agenda, no official action may be taken
according to state law.
