D.C. Everest Middle School Families,

It is with great enthusiasm that we look forward to the start of a new school year! Our faculty and staff are making plans to see that the 2010-2011 school year is the best yet for your son and/or daughter. Many great opportunities, challenges, experiences, and adventures in education await during the year ahead. We look forward to embarking on this journey together with you!

Our school seeks to meet the high expectations of our School Board goals through being Academically Excellent, Developmentally Responsive, and Socially Equitable. We are proud to live in a community that places such high value on learning. At your Middle School your child(ren) will have access to a strong and diverse set of academic opportunities. Outside of the school day we encourage your son and/or daughter to spread their wings and become involved through one or more of the many clubs, sports, and/or fine arts experiences that our staff facilitate. Along the way, we encourage parents to work closely with us as partners in the educational experience. We know that by joining together your child(ren) will have an even stronger web of support for times when they may need it. We thank you in advance for your trust, support, and communication!

As you look to the fantastic year of learning ahead please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Our August open house sessions provide a great chance to start the year off on a positive note - I’d strongly encourage you to attend.
