About the IMC
Policies/Staff
Checkout
Kindergarten students may check
out 1 book each class time. Books are checked out for two
weeks. Kindergarten students can have a total of 2 books out at one
time. Books must be returned before more can be checked out.
1st grade-5th grade students may
check out up to 2 books or 1 magazine each class time. Books and
magazines are checked out for two weeks. First through 5th grade
students can have a total of 4 items out at one time. Library
materials must be returned before more can be checked out.
Students with overdue books will
not be able to check out new ones until the overdue books are returned.
There are no fines charged for overdue
books, but if books or materials are lost or damaged the cost of the item
will be charged to the student. Money paid for lost library
materials during the school year will be returned in full when the item is
returned to the library.

Commemorative Book Program
A gift to the Library is a thoughtful way to remember a
special person or occasion while helping to build the library’s
collection of books and materials.

Memorial Books:
Donations of money can be given to purchase books or materials OR
you may purchase an item in memory of a student or staff member for the
library.
·
In Honor of a person or event:
Contributions can be made to purchase books or materials OR you may
purchase an item to honor individuals for birthdays, graduations,
retirement or any other special occasion.
A bookplate will be included in each item purchased acknowledging
memorials, special occasions and gifts received.
A letter including titles or materials selected or donated will be
sent to you and the person you designate.
