AR QUIZ LIST
ACCELERATED READER INTRODUCTION
Accelerated Reader is a popular computer program at Riverside Elementary.
The children love to test themselves on their reading comprehension by taking a
brief AR quiz in the library.
Students in grades 3 - 5 are invited to participate in the AR
Program. First, students choose an AR book, marked with the
"Accelerated Reader" symbol from the library. They may also find
a book at home or at the public library, just click on the Quiz List above to
verify that Riverside IMC owns the quiz. After reading the book, the child
takes a 5 or 10 question quiz. The computer keeps track of what quizzes
have been taken, and what score was achieved. Those that earn the
Quarterly Point Goal set by the IMC will be invited to an Accelerated Reader
Celebration, held in the IMC.
