Book Club
Thanks to the
additional funds raised by the Read-a-thon, we are able to create a student book
club for interested 4th graders.
We meet every
few weeks and in various small groups, we discuss the book assigned for the
meeting. The meeting occurs at lunch time and Mrs. Dembowski provides a
dessert for the participants. In order to create a good discussion, the
group is limited in size - usually three or four students.
Interested
students have signed up in the library and a "lottery" format is used
to guarantee that all who would like to participate will eventually get a chance
to do so.
