Technology and Information Literacy Check List Kindergarten One of our goals in the D.C. Everest
School District (DCE) is to assist students as they find and use ideas and
information in a variety of forms and formats to meet their personal and
academic needs. It is our belief that a successful library program
involves many people working together. Our library "team"
consists of the library teacher collaborating with interested classroom teachers
and specialists to create lessons that reflect the curriculum of each grade
level. In
order to make that happen, planning calendars and open communication needs to
take place. The library teacher also needs cooperation from other
"team" members including the library assistant, building principal,
computer technician and technology coordinator. With this goal in mind, by the end of Kindergarten,
