This application is only available to juniors and seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. (Students will be notified by letter regarding their eligibility in August of
2011.)
Membership in National Honor Society entails a commitment. Apply for membership only if you are willing to attend club meetings and participate in planned NHS activities.
In order to be fair to everyone, names are not used on the application. The selection committee can only judge students by what is written on the application, so be thorough.
The application directions are quite explicit. Read them thoroughly and follow them carefully.
When you are finished with the application, print it out along with your leadership essay and make sure both you and your parent/guardian sign the appropriate page.
Copies of the application are available in the IMC.
Applications must be brought to the IMC by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September
15, 2011. Applications turned in after the deadline will not be reviewed for the October
17, 2011 induction.
